These sessions are a great way to treat your full body to relax tension, relieve stress, and feel amazing. If you're used to terms like Swedish Massage, Relaxation Massage, or Deep Tissue Massage, this is the option you should choose, although we can definitely do treatment work within these appointments as well.

We'll talk before your session to discuss your goals and decide pressure, style, and focus areas so you get the perfect massage to address your needs.

This type of massage is best done fully undressed to allow the flowing movements to have the best effects of full body reintegration. You will be under sheets and only the areas currently being massaged will be uncovered. If you aren't comfortable being fully undressed under the sheets, you are welcome to undress to whatever level feels safe.

Treatment Massage & Advanced Manual Therapy

These sessions are done partially clothed (ideally something like loose shorts and a tank top - no bra or other tight clothing) and without any oil. This allows us to change positions easily as we incorporate advanced manual therapy techniques to address the issues that are causing you pain or decreased function. These sessions are done partially clothed (ideally something like loose shorts and a tank top - no bra or other tight clothing) and without any oil. This allows us to change positions easily as we incorporate advanced manual therapy techniques to address the issues that are causing you pain or decreased function.

The techniques are aimed at interacting with the nervous system to help reduce pain and tension, and increase healthy movement. Because of the precision and specificity, treatments are able to remain gentle and comfortable.

Visceral Manipulation

Visceral manipulation is a gentle, but extremely profound, modality that works with the organs of the abdomen, thorax, and pelvis to restore proper movement within these systems. Restrictions in the movement patterns of the organs can impair the organs' functions and create far-reaching imbalances in other areas of the body as well.

Prenatal Massage Therapy

Pregnancy massage focuses on addressing your needs throughout the course of pregnancy. When your belly gets bigger and lying face down becomes uncomfortable, massage is performed lying on your side, supported by multiple pillows.

I began my career as a licensed massage therapist (LMT) in 2010, following my training at Cortiva Massage School in Seattle. I choose to be a massage therapist because of the healing power that touch, movement, and conversation have to help a person recover from physical and emotional pain and discomfort. I love working alongside my clients as they rise above their limitations.

I know from personal experience the effects that pain from car accidents, injuries, or chronic disease can have on our lives, and I strive to help and facilitate my clients as they navigate their own journeys through the healing process.

  • I regularly work with clients who have been in auto accidents, or who live with chronic pain and limited mobility. (read more about massage and car accidents here)

  • I utilize visceral manipulation and its related concepts in my treatment sessions, taking advantage of the gentle and direct way it allows us to treat the body and the nervous system. (read more about visceral manipulation here)

  • I include breast and chest massage (always optional) in many of my sessions, which requires advanced training beyond massage school - and I am one of only a few teachers in Washington State providing this training to other massage therapists. (read more about breast massage here)

  • I hold advanced training allowing me to legally massage the muscles inside the mouth (this is called intraoral massage) which can be fundamental in relieving jaw pain, neck pain, and headaches. (read more about intraoral massage here)

  • I work with many pregnant and postpartum clients to address the unique challenges and situations of pregnancy, labor, recovery, and breastfeeding. (read more about prenatal massage here)

  • I am a Certified Kinesio Taping® Practitioner® (CKTP®), which allows me to further assist clients hoping to decrease pain, reduce swelling, improve injury recovery, and promote better posture with the use of Kinesio Tape®. (read more about Kinesio Taping® here)

  • I treat clients seeking relaxation and stress relief or help with reducing anxiety and managing depression.

Whatever reasons you have for seeking massage, I welcome you and look forward to working with you!
